A people-led nonprofit dedicated to building equitable, healthy, and self-reliant communities across India.
Jan Seva Shakti was founded in 2010 by a group of social workers, educators, and health professionals who witnessed first-hand the widening gaps in access to basic services in rural and semi-urban India.
What started as a small community kitchen in a single village quickly grew into a structured organization running programs in education, health, women empowerment, and sustainable livelihoods — touching thousands of lives each year.
Today, with over 300 active volunteers and partnerships with 40+ communities, we continue to be driven by one belief: lasting change happens when communities lead it themselves.
Join Our MissionA self-reliant society where every individual can thrive with dignity, regardless of geography or background.
